JoVi Tronix, the exclusive agent for a number of smart phones in Egypt such as HTC and Lenovo, is targeting sales ranging between 450-500 million Egyptian pounds (US$57,5-63,9 million) this year.

However, Tarek Abdel Mohsen, Marketing Director of JoVi Tronix, said the targeted sales might not reached due to the US dollar liquidity shortage, which had already hurt the volume of imported phones to the Egyptian market.

Abdel Mohsen said his company registered a volume of business worth 400 million pounds in 2014.

For HTC, JoVi Tronix seeks a total volume of sales of 400,000 smart phones, Abdel Mohsen said referring that the 816 and 820 are the best-selling smart phones. The volume of monthly sales for HTC amounts to 10,000-15,000 smart phones.

Abdel Mohsen also aid his company is dealing with various distribution channels, thus it exists in 650 outlets representing 90 % of the Egyptian market.
