Egyptian agency ITIDA will hold the first investor briefing event on May 5 on technology and investment in outsourcing sector, with the theme of ‘The Investment Forum’.
Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is a public-private partnership between the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the private sector dedicated to developing IT in Egypt.
The forum aims to create a periodical communication platform with existing and prospective investors in Egypt’s ICT sector from the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It also targets discussing outsourcing services and industries in the country as well as showcasing ITIDA’s strategic initiatives.
The event will focus on getting acquainted with investors’ needs and insights into the job market requirements, as well as presenting ITIDA’s visions and programmes for the upcoming period.
Key government officials, business leaders and entrepreneurs in IT industry and outsourcing will participate in the forum. They are set to discuss related issues and share their views over best practices, success stories, challenges and industry needs to create a suitable business environment, maintain current investments and attract more investors.
