The Italian ambassador in Cairo, Maurizio Massari, opens has inaugurated Thursday Marmomacc Samoter Africa & Middle East’s event “the International Trade Fair for Stone, Design, Technology, Earthmoving and Building Machinery”. The event is being taken place at Cairo International Convention and Exhibition Centre – CICC, on December 11-14th.
About 77 Egyptian and international companies are participating in the event. The Egyptian pavilion includes 37 companies working in marble and granite sectors. This comes in addition to 40 companies from Italy, China, Turkey and Pakistan.
Massari affirmed that Egypt is considered as the most powerful state in the Middle East and its political and economic stability are reflected, remarkably, on the Arab World.
He declared that this is the first time for the fair to be held outside Italy, which is emphasising the Italian support for Egypt whether politically or economically.
