Investment in Eni mega gas field in Egypt to reach $7bn

Total investment in a large gas field discovered by Eni off Egypt’s coast is expected to reach $7 billion, Egypt’s state gas company said Monday.

“With the full completion of development for the field, investments will (reach) $7 billion,” Khaled Abdel Badie – Head of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS)  told Reuters.
