IMF Loan Gives Green Light To French Investments In Egypt

Hassan Behnam, Director of UBIFRANCE, the French Agency for International Business Development, has emphasized the necessity of getting the loan of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), as it would give the green light to the foreign investments to head to Egypt, specifically the French investments.

In exclusive statements to “Amwal Al Ghad”, Behnam said the agency is promoting for investment in the Egyptian market, and working on attracting small and middle entrepreneurs to Egypt, so as to provide job opportunities for youth and expand in the Egyptian market to enter Africa and take advantage of the Egyptian investment climate.

There is a state of anticipation towards Egypt due to the current incidents of the political instability and the unclear economic vision of Kandil’s cabinet, said Benham; pointing to the agency’s role in promoting for the investment in Egypt through clarifying the economic vision.

Benham added that several French projects were suspended till restoring the state of stability.
