Ibny Betak Association has sent a memorandum to the Minister of Education, demanding opening Ibny Betak School, which is located in the 6th of October City, at the current academic year.
Taha Gado, Vice Chairman of the Association, stated that the school is ready for delivery and can be opened along with the beginning of the new academic year. However, the educational administration refuses operating the school, claiming that the population at the project is not enough. Gado highlighted that the memorandum includes the number of the population who are willing to transfer their children to this school upon confirmation of its opening.
He explained that the school will be built in the area of October Gardens, ranging from the first to the fourth zone, pointing out that the school offers basic education and nursery.
He pointed out that the cost of transporting students to the nearest school, which lies about 5.5 miles from the project, is EGP 30 per day, adding that they have prepared a file including the names of more than 100 students willing to join the school at the new academic year.
