Hundreds of youth from Dr. Morsi campaign and Kefaya Movement plus a number of revolution’s youth in Cairo and Alexandria arranged a protest in front of the state council. The protest is to support the decree of Mr. President Morsi to reinstate the people’s Assembly, and the protesters are calling for annulling the decision of dissolving the council.
This protest gathered before the administrative court of the state council considers more than 18 lawsuits that demand overturning the decree of Mr. President Morsi.
The lawsuits filed by MP Abu Al Ezz Al Hariri and lawyers Shehata Mohamed Shehata, Wael Hamdy, Ibrahim Fekry, AL Roby Goma’a, Nabil Ghobria, Mohamed Amer Helmy and Ashraf Meslehy. They assured that the decree is against the verdict of the Supreme Constitutional court, and Dr Morsi’s decree violates the law and constitution, moreover, it violates the Article 49 of constitutional court law which emphasize the court’s verdicts are on all the state’s powers.
The lawsuits elaborated that the decree came as his executive power not as the acts of sovereignty, so it is an administrative decision could be challenged before the administrative court for violating the law and the constitutional declaration.
