Egypt’s construction firm, Hassan Allam said Tuesday it was tasked with establishing the Ministry of Justice’s building at the ministerial district in the country’s new capital city.

The cost of establishing the ministry’s building will be 500 million Egyptian pounds ($27.6 million).

Atef Barbary, Hassan Allam’s managing director for financial affairs, said the company is responsible for establishing a massive building on a space of 8,000 square metres, comprising a ground floor and seven typical floors.

This is the second time Hassan Allam is assigned directly by the government to carry out works in the ministerial district, Barbary added.

“According to the contract, the company is set to deliver the Ministry of Justice’s building at the end of 2019, fully-furnished and equipped with central air conditioner and fire alarm system, at a cost worth 500 million pounds,” the Egyptian official noted.

Earlier, Hassan Allan was assigned four months ago to establish a mega administrative building at the ministerial district at costs exceeding 1.3 billion pounds.
