Gulf markets briefing 16/04/2023

The majority of the gulf markets closed high on Sunday, with the Saudi Tadawul All Share rising by 0.62 percent. The index closed at 11,032.57 after it gained 67.90 points. During the day’s trade, the index recorded a day high value of 11,040.01 and a day low value of 10,968.75.

Dubai’s main index, DFM, rose by 0.129 percent to 3491.93 after it gained 4.49 points. The index recorded a day high value of 3501.38 and a day low value of 3484.84.

Abu Dhabi’s main index, FTSE ADX General, climbed by 0.680 percent to close at 9623.05. The index gained 64.95 points, and recorded a day high value of 9624.24 and a day low value of 9550.18.

The Qatari main index, however, dropped by -0.37 percent. QE All Shares lost 12.54 points to close at 3,359.89. The index recorded a day high value of 3,385.36 and a day low value of 3,355.49.

Boursa Kuwait 50 fell by -0.276 percent to 5481.43, losing 15.17 points. The index recorded a day high value 5486.46 and a day low value of 5441.11.
