Gulf Bank has announced on Sunday its first drive-thru Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) and ATM service in its Sharq branch in Kuwait, as a part of its digital transformation plans and 2025 strategy.
Gulf Bank is the first bank in Kuwait to provide ITM and ATM services, enabling its customers quick access to their accounts and the ability to access banking services easily.
“Gulf Banks is moving towards digital leadership in the banking sector, through a comprehensive digital transformation journey,” said its general manager of consumer banking, Mohammed Al-Qattan.
Al-Qattan further added that “Gulf Bank is providing modern technological solutions, adopting the highest global standards in risk management practices and promoting outstanding employee performance based on dynamic interaction and participation.”
The bank’s digital transformation also includes services provided through the bank’s website, the newly launched mobile application and branches across various regions of Kuwait, Al-Qattan stated.
ITMs offer a combination of advanced technology with the availability of customer service representatives, enabling customers to conduct their banking transactions without the need to enter a branch.
Gulf Bank’s ITM also provides customers with services like cash withdrawals and deposits, the ability to alter the daily limit for withdrawals and deposits to go up to 5,000 Kuwaiti Dinar and the freedom to choose their currency denominations from 1 to 20KD.
The ITMs provide services for inter-account transfers, credit card payments, prepaid cards, AlDannah account openings, KYC customer data updates, SMS services activation and ATM and credit card blocking.
