GlaxoSmithKline says to pump 60 mln Egyptian pounds into Egypt in 2016

Drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline said Thursday it plans to inject investments worth of 60 Egyptian pounds ($6.7 million) into Egypt throughout 2016.

The investments will go for doubling the number of its production units of liquid medicines in the North African country.

The drug firm also confirmed being too close to complete a new production line, in addition to amend the current production line of the liquid medicines in Egypt through 2016.
