by Salma Ayman

Google has launched a dedicated website for the Holy month of Ramadan. The website, www.google.com/ramadan will feature a wide variety of services to Muslims all around the globe to celebrate the Holy month of Ramadan.

The website is live now and will remain open till the Ramadan month ends.

Users can choose to watch Ramadan related videos on YouTube, watch live streaming for events happening at holy places like Mecca’s Grand Mosque, and similarly can use Hangouts, tag on Google plus, and plan their trip using Google Maps all at one place.

Another feature provided by the dedicated Ramadan website is the “Trending searches” which will offer insights as to the search habits of users in countries across MENA and South East Asia. These trending searches will showcase the topics of interest across various categories.

Users will also be able to see how people around the world are celebrating Ramadan. You can search for the hashtag breakingfast on Google+ to see the latest stream of posts and photos. You can also send through your own special moments by simply sharing your favorite photo or post on Google+ and tagging your post with breakingfast.
