France’s Crédit Agricole targets higher Egypt market share

French lender Crédit Agricole is planning to boost its market share in Egypt by expanding in small and medium-sized as well as corporate lending activities.

Crédit Agricole Egypt’s market share currently accounts for 2 percent, said its managing director François Drion on Wednesday.

Established in 2006, Crédit Agricole Egypt has become an active player in Egypt’s financial industry offering a wide range of innovative and convenient products to its clients across the entire spectrum: Corporate, SMEs, and individuals.
