The members of the African Affairs Committee, at Egypt’s Shura Council, has met with the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Kamel Amr; in the framework of their visit to the ministry in order to consult and coordinate between the ministry and Shura Council over the priorities of the Egyptian policies in Africa.
It is worth mentioning that Moahmed Amr received yesterday the Syrian dissident Prime Minister Riad Hijab, and discussed the latest developments on the Syrian arena, as well as the miserable circumstances that the Syrian people live.
The Deputy Spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Counselor Nazih El-Nagari, in the wake of the meeting, asserted that the ways of terminating the suffer of the Syrian people have been discussed, and he submitted his aspirations towards freedom and dignity in Syria; in the light of the initiative launched by Mr Moaz al-Khatib, the leader of the Syrian National Coalition (SNC).
