Federation Of Egyptian Banks Mulls Establishing Micro-Enterprise Bank

The Federation of Egyptian Banks (FEB) will hold a meeting on 29th of this May to study the establishment of a micro-enterprise bank, said Sherif Gamea, executive manager of FEB.

During the conference held to launch the Micro-enterprise Reform Index in collaboration with FEB’s micro-enterprise committee, Gamea called on Alexandria Business Association to present their suggestions and recommendations on the matter.

There is a delegation comprised of representatives of the Egyptian Credit Bureau “I-Score” and some banks that will study and make a report on the electronic payment systems in CitiBank Group in England to be submitted afterwards to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), he added.
