Faisal’s Business Volume Up 16.7% In October

Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt’s volume of business rose to EGP 40152 million in October 2012, compared to EGP 34418 million in October 2011, registering an increase of 16.7%.

The bank’s assets reached EGP 40015 million last October, compared to EGP 34263 million in October 2011, registering a growth rate of 16.8%. The current accounts and savings pools stood at EGP 36471 million, compared to EGP 31873 million, registering an increase of 14.4%.

The investments balances reached EGP 37877 million in October 2012, compared to EGP 32278 million a year earlier, registering an increase of 17.3%.

The liquid assets stood at EGP 2203 million in October 2012, compared to EGP 2604 million in October 2011, registering an increase of 15.4%. The provisions reached EGP 1659 million last October, down from EGP 1953 million a year earlier, registering a retreat of 15%.
