Exceed -the famous outsourcing company- assured that the countries of Europe and North America are the most recommended countries to pump new investments in Egypt, during the post-elections stage.
Adel Dansh – Exceed CEO- said that European and American countries depend on investing in outsourcing sector in Egypt, because of the relatively low cost and the high linguistic qualifications of the Egyptian youth, working in this sector, and he mentioned that gulf markets are the least to invest in Egypt for this regard, due to the high cost of phone communications between Egypt and the Gulf states.
Dansh added that the companies working in communications sector in Gulf countries that acquire their services from the Egyptian outsourcing companies bare 50% of calls’ cost. Although this cost represents a financial burden to the Gulf countries, but cooperation with those countries prevails the advantage of the similar linguistics, which help in finding more employment opportunities for the Egyptian workers in this sector.
Dansh also said that Exceed is targeting the expansion of providing the outsourcing services from homes, after the trial of providing the service from 10 sits at homes, as he clarified that the technical considerations that should exist at homes slow the expansion process down.
He added that the service form homes allow the increase of workers numbers, and also allow some parties to join the business such as the housewives, adding that providing the service at homes cut the need of more sits in the workplace, as well as the transportation cost.
Dansh said that Exceed has not witnessed in decline in the volume of profits during the last year, except for the period of cutting the internet services during the revolution, as he mentioned that the foreign companies’ sector is most to be affected inside the company because the absence of these companies’ desire to enter the Egyptian market, due to the current disorders.
He also confirmed that Exceed is working on assuring the growth chances in the market, especially in the call-centers sector, as he clarified that the company provides a reliable alternative paths, in case of witnessing any disorders, and these paths are receiving calls through satellites, sorting to the company’s branch in Morocco, and sorting to some companies working in the sector in the Eastern European countries for the purpose of receiving calls instead of Exceed, as a trial to attract new investment to the market.
He mentioned that the foreigners cooperating with exceed understand the Egyptian situation very well.
Regarding the local partners, Dansh confirmed that cooperation with “Telecom Egypt” in serving the index services and call-center services for “Te-Data” participated greatly in the continuation of the Exceed operations
Dansh also mentioned that the sector does not witness any new local investments, because of the financial problems witnessed by all of the companies, and that is why they avoid investing in customer service field to provide more liquidity.
