European markets briefing 02/05/2023

The European markets closed low on Tuesday with London’s main index, FTSE, dropping by -1.24 percent to 7,773.03. The index lost 97.54 points, recording a day high value of 7,898.69 and a day low value of 7,773.03.

DAX, Germany’s main index, fell by -1.23 percent and lost 195.44 points. The index closed at 15,726.94, recording a day high value of 16,011.56 and a day low value of 15,707.55.

The French main index, CAC 40, inched down by -1.45 percent to 7,383.20. It lost 108.30 points, recording a day high value of 7,505.92 and a day low value of 7,374.06.
