European market briefing 05/05/2023

The European market closed high on Friday with the London’s main index, FTSE, rising by 0.98 percent to 7,778.38 points. It gained 75.74 points, recording a day high value of 7,781.54 and a day low value of 7,702.64.

DAX rose by 1.44 percent and gained 226.78 points to close at 15,961.02. It recorded a day high value of 15,961.54 and a day low value of 15,755.97.

CAC 40 inched up by 1.26 percent to 92.16 to close at 7,432.93. The index recorded a day high value of 7,437.60 and a day low value of 7,354.60.
