Europe Stocks Steady Ahead Of German Court Ruling

European stock markets held mostly steady on Wednesday, as markets awaited a decision from a German constitutional court on European bailout plans.

The Stoxx Europe 600 index was flat at 272.60, with shares of Kingfisher PLC pushing on the downside, off nearly 2% after reporting a profit fall.

The German DAX 30 index rose 0.3% to 7,330.13, while the French CAC 40 index was flat at 3,540.66. The Spain IBEX 35 index led gainers with a 1% jump to 8,011.40, with Banco Santander SA up 1%. The FTSE 100 index was flat at 5,785.50.
