Following the successful rollout of the UniTalk promotion aimed at student Wasel subscribers in the UAE, Etisalat announced the winners of the promotion on the reveal day held at Dubai Mall. The lucky winner of the first prize was Mohammed Abdul Kadir, a student of American University of Dubai, who received a cheque of AED130,000. The second prize was won by Mohammed Al Zaabi and third prize by Latifa Hamad, both of whom are students of Zayed University Abu Dhabi and Dubai respectively. Al Zaabi won an Apple device set (Macbook, iPad and iPhone), while Bu Hulaiba won shopping vouchers worth AED5,000 from Dubai Mall.
As part of the UniTalk promotion, Etisalat had run a Facebook campaign and conducted roadshows in over 16 campuses across the UAE. During the campus visits, students were given the option of subscribing to the plan in exchange of a raffle coupon for a lucky draw.
“I would like to thank Etisalat for giving me the opportunity to win such a great prize at a young age,” said an elated Abdul Kadir. “Such support and value offerings are not new to Etisalat who have always paid attention to students and their requirements.
