Emirates, one of world’s fastest growing airlines, has strengthened its commitment to Egypt with the introduction of one additional flight per week effective from 5th July. This will take the total number of flights offered on the Cairo-Dubai route to 14 per week.

“This increase comes in line with our strategy to expand and grow in the Egyptian market,” said Saeed Khalifa bin Sulaiman, Emirates Manager in Egypt. “Egypt is a key market for us and we see this positive increase in demand as a healthy sign that portrays great potential in the overall aviation, tourism, and business sectors. This additional flight will offer customers greater flexibility in choosing their travel times as well as help support further business and tourism opportunities in Egypt.”

The additional flight will operate from Cairo at 11:55 arriving to Dubai at 17:30 DXB to return from Dubai at 08:50 and arrive in Cairo at 10:40.

“More access reflects better opportunity for economic growth and expansion between the two countries” concluded Bin Sulaiman. “Demand for the Dubai – Cairo route has risen exponentially over the past years with both capitals fast becoming the regional hubs for businesses that cover the Middle East and Africa region. Connecting these two countries and beyond with additional flights will serve to improve these businesses which will in turn reflect positively on both economies.”
