Egypt’s non-government organization Eitesal has recently signed a number of agreements with Cairo University, Ministry of Scientific Research in addition to companies representing the organisation, said chairman Hazem El-Tahawy.
The agreements come as part of Eitesal’s aim to support the anticipated Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre (TIEC) that would work under the Egyptian Ministry of Information and Communication Technology to be launched by the next year, he noted. Authorities plan to start the establishment of TIEC within next year.
Eitesal is also planning to connect various technological factors and scientific research to be included in TIEC’s activities. The centre is set to start its operations by mid-2015, expected to encompass around 25 SMEs.
