Egyptian Insurance Brokers Association (EIBA) said the number of insurance brokers reached 5989 in April 2012, compared to 5910 in March 2012. In pursuant to act no.10 of 1981 and its executive regulations for insurance control and supervision in Egypt, 13 brokers’ memberships were renewed in April, compared to 34 renewals in March.
The number of inspection and risk management companies remained the same in April. There are 43 risk management companies, 520 experts, 10 consultants, 300 insurance experts and 20 actuarial experts.
