Egytrans Eyes Grain Port worth EGP170 million

Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services SAE – Egytrans (ETRS.CA) announced on Wednesday its ongoing talks with local and foreign investors to establish an inland port project.

The Cairo-based freight services company further said the project project is to establish a company specialized in trading of grain to and from Alexandria port through lake Marriott, with investments worth EGP 170 million. The capital of the project amounts to EGP 85 million.

The company added that it did not specify its stake in the new company and expected the completion of the feasibility study, negotiations and the establishment of the company by year end.
