Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes end higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index growing 0.79 percent to 10,042 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) advanced 1.24 percent to 2,383 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped rose 0.86 percent to 12,591 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 surged 1.30 percent to 3,334 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 added 1.40 percent to 2,263 points.

However, the country’s market capitalisation has on Wednesday saw gains worth 5.2 billion Egyptian pounds ($331.6 million), ending the trading at 643.925 billion pounds triggered by foreign investors’ buying appetite.
