Egypt’s Minister Urges Int’l Cooperation to Face Cyber Crimes

Eng. Atef Helmy, Egyptian Information and Communication Technology Minister asserted that the international cooperation has a great importance in facing cyberspace and cyber crimes and preventing digital identity privacy.

This Came within the Minister’s keynote speech at ITU’s sixth World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC) will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, adding that telecommunication is a mainly right for each individual, as it’s the most important instrument for effecting and changing societies, beside raising the awareness of various categories.

Egypt is now working in close coordination with the Arab Regional Office of the International Telecommunication Union, to take the necessary steps towards our desire to host a regional center for persons  with disabilities aiming to study and develop better ways to adapt the information and communications technology to serve persons with disabilities.
