Egypt’s law firm Matouk Bassiouny is advising on 20 acquisitions and five initial public offerings (IPOs) through 2018, its founding partner Omar Bassiouny told Amwal Al Ghad on Sunday.
The IPOs are in the food, petrochemicals, and industrial sectors, Bassiouny said adding that his company studies advising on listing an Egyptian firm on London bourse.
As for the acquisitions, Bassiouny said each valued at $25-70 million, and they are in the education, health, energy, and food sectors. They are in favour of private equity funds as well as regional land international institutions, he said.
