Egypt’s M2 Money Supply Surges 6.7%

Egypt’s M2 money supply rose 6.7 percent in the year to the end of March, the Central Bank of Egypt said on Monday.

 Money supply was EGP 1,054.7 billion ($174.4 billion), up from EGP 1,050.1 billion at the end of February and EGP 988.1 billion at the end of March 2011, Reuters reported.
