ITIDA: Current Unrest Will Not Halt Our Support to Egypt SMEs

Eng. Yasser ElKady, CEO of Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), has revealed that the ongoing political unrest won’t affect the Agency’s plan for supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) so as to visit Cairo ICT Exhibition within  the coming September.

ElKady has pointed out in an exclusive to Amwal Al Ghad that ITIDA is seeking to support Gitex Saudi Arabia and Dubai companies with the coming October, asserting that ITIDA is working to keep the contracts with the companies and continuing care procedures.

He has emphasized that ITIDA is still insisting to open Cairo ICT TradeFairs on time, noting that the time and place of Cairo ICT did not amend or change till now.

ElKady said the current political turmoil won’t affect ITIDA’s plan to export IT with EGP 2 billion.

He has explained that ITIDA is continuing to contact with foreign companies which dealing with the domestic partnerships as the Egyptian companies do not receive any complaints or threats from the foreign to halt investments in the local market.
