Chamber of Information Technology and Communications (CIT) revealed at a press conference on Sunday its future strategy for the coming period.
The chamber’s strategy has seven main axes to focus on in the service of more than 1,020 company members working within Egypt’s ICT sector.
The chamber’s strategy was set after conducting a careful study to inspect company members’ needs based on a poll in which they voted. Both global and local changes were also taken into consideration while setting this strategy that will lead the steps of Egyptian community into the new era of digitalisation.
Chaired by Walid Gad, board members of the chamber agreed on giving a boost to tech companies and businesses locally and globally with giving a special focus on innovative ideas that will realize comprehensive development of the CIT.
Moreover, the chamber plans to organise a number of events and workshops aiming to raise the awareness to the usage of IT products and solutions in everyday life and thus take a step forward to adaptation of technology.
