Egypt’s ICT minister sponsors ‘Technology Enabled Communities- Nuba’ Conference

Egypt Information and Communication Technology Trust Fund (ICT-TF), affiliated to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), will organise the first annual Sustainable Development Conference March 31.

Under the rubric “Technology Enabled Communities- Nuba”, the conference will organised in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and under the auspices of the ICT Minister Yasser ElKady.

It will take place at Smart Village Conference Centre.

The Conference aims to look into the methodology of the integrated development project using ICTs in Nuba, implemented by ICT-TF as an integrated development model for a technology-enabled community.

The Conference is within the framework of MCIT strategy, UN sustainable development goals and Egypt’s strategy 2030. MCIT plays a significant role in improving Egyptian citizens’ standard of living and exerts efforts to help support civil society organizations encourage small enterprises and back persons with disabilities.
