IBM Egypt has inaugurated Yesterday a center to provide technical support services for North America and Europe in Maadi Cairo Contact Centers Park in order to export support services within Egypt.
Eng. Amr Talaat, General Manager of IBM Egypt, said the new center will serve the general orientation of the parent company depending on the Egyptian market in exporting information technology (IT) abroad as an ‘African-tech corridor’.
Talaat has explained that IBM aims to establish other center to export (IT) and marketing the technological products across MENA and Africa, asserting that his company eyes to make the best use of Information and Communication Technology Ministry (MCIT) strategy for spreading cloud computing services so as to make Egypt technological corridor which links the countries with each other.
Dr. Hesham Kandil, Egypt’s Prime Minister and Eng. Atef Helmy, the (ICT) Minister, have opened the second phase of Cairo Contact Centers Park in Maadi, this phase includes five prepared buildings to host the International and Egyptian companies operating in (ICT) and outsourcing services.
The New buildings locate on an area of 42.000 square meters, with EGP 290 million investments, and provide around 8.000 new direct job opportunities and 20.000 other indirect.
