Egypt’s Housing to execute Abu Hummus’ water plant expansion next March

Egypt’s Ministry of Housing will execute a drinking water plant expansion project in Abu Hummus town in Beheira Governorate within March 2018, at a cost worth 250 million Egyptian pounds ($14.1 million).

This plant is with a capacity of 34/68,000 cubic metres per day, said Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Monday.

Madbouly added that his ministry is currently implementing another drinking water station in El Rahmaniya city in Beheira Governorate, with a capacity of 5,000 cubic metres per day and a cost of 30 million pounds.

“The project (El Rahmaniya’s water station) will be completed within June 2018,” the Egyptian official further referred.
