Egypt’s Housing Committed To Deliver Its Projects On Time

Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab, Minister of Housing and Urban Communities, has asserted that it will be billed any contractor  company for any delaying of the announced deadlines in implementing drinking water and sanitation projects across republic, as to impose delay penalties in case of non-compliance with deadlines.

Mahlab has demanded from drinking water and sanitation sector that there should be a declared timetable  for the projects which will be completed in the current investment plan of 2013/2014 and there should set a digital watch for every project that will implement in city or village.

This came during the meeting of the Minister yesterday with about 100 officials in Drinking water and sanitation sector across republic, with drinking water companies ,National Authority for Drinking Water and Wastewater,the Executive Board for drinking water and sanitation consumer protection.

The Minister has emphasized that we should be honest with the citizens for the reasons of faltering implementation of any project, Our mission is to serve citizens and their rights , pointing out that, the decisions of transitional government will be declared even if we have error, and the role of the media detector and an observer, and if there was a water plant, for example, the error will stop work and declare it, laws, regulations and clear and applied on everyone.
