Vice Chairman, Housing & Development Bank (HDB) Essam Mohamed Abou Hamed said the volume of small and medium portfolio registered around EGP151 million during the current period, 40% from it for small contractor.
On the sidelines of the signing of an agreement with Social Fund for Development (SFD), Abou Hamed added that HDB is aiming to increase its portfolio by 100% within the upcoming period.
Moreover, the bank has inked financing contracts worth EGP60 million today in order to go for financing small projects among financing agreement with the World Bank.
