Egypt announces AMF’s Sukuk Course in cooperation with World Bank

The Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) will organise a training course in the development of Sukuk market.

According to a statement by the Egyptian Finance Ministry’s Central Administration of Financial Researches and Administrative Development, the course will be provided by AMF’s Economic Policy Institute (API) in cooperation with the World Bank Group.

The training course aims to acquaint the participants with all types of sukuk alongside with the mechanisms of issuing it. In addition, the course will review the legal and organizational challenges that face the entities in charge of issuing sukuk.

The statement further clarified that the course would be held during the period 19th -23rd April 2015 in the institute’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Arab Monetary Fund would pay participants’ costs of travelling, accommodation in hotels in addition to cash allowance.
