Egypt’s EGID Signs $300.000 Contract With US Hotels

Egypt for Information Dissemination – EGID – announced on Sunday signing a $300.000 contract with a number of hotels and conference venues in the USA. Upon the contract, EGID shall provide all the software services to the US hotels for two years starting from the date of signing the contract.

Maher Asham the CEO of EGID – said the firm tends to contract with companies and institutions away from the securities market especially after the demand for programming from the market has declined. EGID has singed hosting provider contracts with a number of firms and institutions as the firm owns an upgraded data centre which provides a stable operating environment for the applications.

In EGID hosting environment, the hosting provider owns and is responsible for the data centre, network, devices, operating system and application infrastructure components, providing a stable operating environment for the applications. The customer’s own IT organization manages the applications and maintains full control over the applications infrastructure and business process.
