Egypt’s domestic liquidity rose to around 5.361 trillion Egyptian pounds ($213.9 billion) at the end of June from 5.256 trillion pounds in May, the central bank announced on Sunday.
The growth in domestic liquidity was reflected in the growth of the country’s money supply to 1.258 trillion pounds at the end of June from 1.226 trillion pounds at the end of May and the quasi-money to around 4.102 trillion pounds from 4.030 trillion pounds.
