Egypt’s currency slightly up vs. USD in early trade

The Egyptian Pound (EGP) experienced a slight uptick against the US Dollar (USD) in early trading on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

The National Bank of Egypt, the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the Arab African International Bank, Banque Misr, and Banque de Caire adjusted their buying and selling rates to EGP 48.30 and EGP 48.40, respectively.

Meanwhile, other banks set their buying and selling rates at EGP 47.46 and EGP 47.56, respectively.

The Faisal Islamic Bank and the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank updated their buying and selling rates to EGP 48.25 and EGP 48.35, and EGP 48.70 and EGP 48.80, respectively.

QNB ALAHLI announced their buying and selling rates at EGP 48.31 and EGP 48.41, respectively. Following the trend, the United Bank posted a buying rate of EGP 48.20 and a selling rate of EGP 48.30.
