Egypt’s central bank (CBE) issued on Tuesday a 115 billion Egyptian pound treasury bill auction, offering options from short-term to long-term maturities, according to a bank statement on its website.
Short-term: Investors seeking a six-month investment can participate in the 182-day bill with an offering of 30 billion pounds. The submission deadline is Sunday, April 28th, 2024.
Medium-term: A 1-year option is available with the 364-day bill, also valued at 25 billion pounds. The deadline to submit bids for this option is the same as the short-term option, April 28th.
Long-term: The first offers a 91-day bill with a value of 30 billion pounds, and the submission deadline is on Monday, April 29th.
The second long-term option is a 273-day bill with a value of 30 billion pounds, with a deadline to submit bids on April 29th.
