Egypt’s state-run construction firm Arab Contractors says it seeks to win a mandate for some infrastructure and road flagships in three African countries; Chad, Uganda, and Ivory Coast in the coming period.
“Arab Contractors is working in 14 African counties,” head of African sector Ibrahim Mabrouk said, referring to the group’s plan to double its businesses in the continent to reach nearly 500 million Egyptian pounds ($28.3 million).
The Egyptian company also prepares to deliver a number of other infrastructure and civil works in three African countries before the end of this year, Mabrouk further said on Saturday.
These works include a major road flagship in Democratic Republic of Congo and a hospital in Uganda, the Egyptian official said.
