Egypt’s Arab Contractors implements $439mn infrastructure projects in Nigeria

Egyptian state-run construction firm Arab Contractors (AC) is currently commissioned to carry out bunch of infrastructure projects worth 3.9 billion Egyptian pounds ($439million) in Nigeria, its Chairman Mohsen Salah said Tuesday.

Lately, (AC) has been assigned to implement a port worth 2.2 billion pounds in Harcourt, Nigeria.

On the other hand, Arab Contractors works on extending water networks, establishing sanitation plants, and paving roads in a new city in Nigeria with total cost of 1.7 billion Egyptian pounds.

The latest projects come as part of a series of other construction businesses in Nigeria being managed by Arab Contractors. Thus, the company’s volume of business in Nigeria registered one billion pounds.

The Egyptian company wants to expand its businesses in the African countries in the coming few years, Salah noted.
