Egypt state-owned Arab Contractors is looking forward to expanding its volume of business through entering into renewable energy projects in cooperation with international specialized companies, its Chairman, Mohsen Salah said Monday.
The leading construction company is currently studying the possibility of implanting power plants using renewable resources in cooperation with one of Korean and Japanese companies, operating in renewable energy field, in number of Egyptian governorates.
In addition, AC had signed an initial memorandum of understanding (MoU) with those companies mid-2015.
In 2015, Arab Contractors (AC) has formed a consortium with a Swiss-based company to build the first phosphate fertilizer plant in Upper Egypt.
As pursuant to the Egyptian-Swiss alliance, the Swiss company is set to provide production and operation equipments, whereas Arab Contractors will not only carry out the plant project but also participate in operating in advanced stages.
