Egypt-based leading Contracting Company Al-Abd targets delivering 16 housing buildings in Al Asmarat City, Mokattam, by June 2017 with total cost of 200 million Egyptian pounds ($10.6 million).
Said Fattouh, vice chairman, said Sunday that his company allocates the units for dangerous slum-dwellers.
Al Abd is carrying out the buildings in favor of Cairo Governorate as part of residential projects in Mokattam. The projects include three housing districts to relocate slum-dwellers, Fattouh stated.
The Egyptian official further added that Al Abd is cooperating with a number of contracting firms in order to install utilities with total cost estimated at 50 million pounds.
Fattouh referred that his company finished more than 60 percent of the project.
Al Abd is seeking to double its efforts to deliver the housing units totally next June, concluded fattouh.
