Egypt’s agricultural exports exceeded 4.7 million ton from the beginning of 2022 till 14 September, the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation has announced on Friday.
This result according to a report the Minister of Agricultural El-Sayed El-Qusair has received from the head of the Central Administration of Plant Quarantine (CAPQ) Ahmed Al Attar.
The report showed that most important agricultural exports are citrus fruits, including potatoes, fresh onions, grapes, fresh tomatoes, sweet potatoes, strawberries, fresh beans, guavas, garlic, mangoes, watermelon, and pomegranate.
Citrus ranked the first place at 1.63 million tons followed by potatoes at 843,632 tons and onions at 312,415 tons.
