Egypt’s 2 Ministries, EU Ink Agreement to Develop Slums with €10mn

Egyptian Ministry of Planning and Ministry of International Cooperation have  signed an agreement with European Union (EU) in order to develop slums with €10 million across Egypt’s governorates including Ain Shams, Giza, Geziret El-Dahab,Al-Warraq and Ezbat El Nasr, El Basatin – Cairo.

The grant will focus on financing projects that will improve the submitted services for citizens.

Ambassador James Moran, Head of EU Delegation to Egypt said the projects which will be financed among this category that will be selected according to EU’s regulations.
