Egyptian Italian Economic Forum In Cairo Launched on Monday

On Monday morning, the events of the economic forum organized by the Egyptian-Italian Friendship and Cooperation Society, headed by the former Italian ambassador Antonio Badini, launched in the presence of Egyptian Minister of Industry and Trade Hatem Saleh. Some High-ranking Italian businessmen are participating in the forum.

The Italian trade delegation consists of 50 businessmen. The delegation throughout 2 days will meet representative of the Egyptian government, Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (EBA), and Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, in the framework of keeping on the momentum of the relations between Italy and Egypt.

Ahmed Galal El Din, Chairman of International Business & Investment Association-(IBIA), said after ending the forum events the Italian delegation will meet the Egyptian PM Hesham Kandil to review a number of proposals aiming at enhancing the bilateral partnership and the joint investments between the two countries; including some industries like packaging, printing and medicine.

He added that during the meeting with PM Hesham Kandil, they will discuss  resuming the project of establishing a maritime line connects the ports of the two countries for developing the commercial relations and increasing the volume of Egyptian crops to Europe via the Italian portal.
