Captain Roshdy Zakaria, Chairman of EgyptAir Airlines, has announced that the company is heading for a number of new destinations; including Toronto in Canada, Manchester in England, next June to reactivate the travel on its board.
Captain Roshdy Zakaria told “Amwal Al Ghad” that EgyptAir will inaugurate a direct line connects Cairo to Hong Kong, Cairo to Jakarta in Indonesia, so as to reactivate the incoming tourism from these destinations; pointing to inaugurating the Cairo-Osaka (in Japan) line, which is achieving good occupancy rates.
He added that the company is being affected by the current instability and tensions of the political states in Egypt, by which the tourism declines. The company achieved EGP 19 million surplus during July, but it achieved losses last September due to the flight attendants” strike.
