Egypt Tourism, easyJet Negotiate over Launching Flights To Cairo

Egyptian Minister of Tourism Hesham Zazou said the ministry is negotiating with the British EasyJet Airline Company Limited to launch flights to Cairo, Luxor and Aswan.

Zazou added that the ministry is convening meetings with EgyptAir Airlines and the Ministry of Civil Aviation so as to discuss launching flights to Cairo for reactivating the tourism in a way that doesn’t affect the national company and its flights.

The negotiations are being conducted with the company to launch flights to Cairo, although it has fears of not hitting return, Zazou elaborated, affirming on the continuity of supporting the charter flight, which its decision will be ended in October 2013. The ministry will continue its work by this police to secure the flights flow to the Egyptian tourism destinations and encouraging the flights coming to Egypt.

EasyJet Airline Company Limited is a British airline headquartered at London Luton Airport. It is the largest airline of the United Kingdom, measured by number of passengers carried, operating domestic and international scheduled services on over 600 routes across more than 30 countries.
